Problem B • Calculate what the bounce height will be if the ball is dropped from half of the original height in the previous question. The Answer : 25 • My Working out. 100 divided by 2 = 50 divided by 2 = 25
Problem C • A super bouncy ball was recently advertised as being able to bounce very high. After dropping it from a height of 25 meters, the ball lost only 25% of its starting height. To what height did the ball bounce? The Answer : 18.75cm • My Working out. 25% out of 100% = 25/100 = ¼ = 4 ¼ of 25m = 25 divided by 4 = 6.25 = 24 r 1 = 18.75cm
