Cooperative Contracts Program • The Business Operations Division (division within DIR) established the Cooperative Contracts Program to support and optimize service delivery to the citizens of Texas. • This Program maximizes the state’s considerable purchasing power in acquiring information resources technologies for state agencies and universities. • The result is substantial pricing discounts, which agencies are unable to achieve individually.

Cooperative ContractsSummary Report • Currently supports a hardware and software goods and services customer base of some 1,200 entities that generate upwards of 22,000 orders per year. • Hardware and software orders range in size from less than $110 to several million dollars, with an average size of $3,800. • Approximately, seventy-five (75) vendors participate in the hardware and software side of the Cooperative Contracts Program.
