Tournament Schedule and Locations Due to overwhelming numbers participating, Delcaps, Inc. decided to create regional tournaments prior to the state tournament. The venues are as follows: • Bay Region Tournament • River Region Tournament • State Tournament
Tournament Venues Bay Region Tournament • Held at Sussex Tech High, Georgetown, DE, March 5, 2011. 9 am – 4 pm. • Covers teams below Smyrna school district and south to the Maryland line for Primary, Division I and Division II teams only • Offers judges training and the mandatory tournament coaches’ tournament meeting Feb. 5, 2011
Tournament Venues River Region Tournament • Held at Caravel Academy, Bear, DE, March 19, 2011. 9 am – 4 pm. • Covers teams in the Smyrna school district and north to the Pennsylvania line for Primary, Division I and Division II teams only • Offers judges training and the mandatory coaches’ tournament meeting Feb. 12, 2011
Tournament Venues State Tournament • Held at the University of Delaware, Newark, DE, April 2, 2011. 9 am – 6 pm. • Covers all first through third place winning and tying teams at the regional tournaments in Divisions I and II and all Division III teams state-wide. No primary teams will compete at the state level. • All judges for the state tournament will have received their assignments by March 23, 2011.
Tournament Venues World Finals Tournament • Held at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, May 27-30, 2011. • Covers all first and second place state tournament winning and tying teams (possible 30+) and any teams awarded a Ranatra Fusca award.

Creativity Kickoff • Agenda • AM • How the Program Works: Reverse Engineering • Learn how a team works together for a final conclusion by analyzing a team’s eight-minute presentation and its subsequent scores. • Talk to the team and coach about how they worked for five months to create this final presentation: will review coaching principles, motivation, focus, score sheets, outside assistance, forms, style, teamwork, and the process of creativity
