Updates from Lab 4-120. Andrew Peck & Shayan Rastegari October 21, 2013. Since last meeting. Repaired: Repaired 11 TMBs Found Samtec shorts on 3 TMBs (easy but tedious repair). The other five have unidentified shorts (to discard). RAT Boards:

Since last meeting • Repaired: • Repaired 11 TMBs • Found Samtec shorts on 3 TMBs (easy but tedious repair). • The other five have unidentified shorts (to discard). • RAT Boards: • Purchase order is finally done and submitted to Murrietta. Estimated 3-4 weeks to receive first article board for testing. • Ordered additional boxes from Uline. Most of the electronics are now packaged up and ready for shipping. • 6 of the new ALCT-384 boards are coming from CERN for repairs. Ran into trouble with the ALCT tester board Electronics still at UCLA: • 4 of ALCT-288 • 4 good • 0 bad • 15of ALCT-384 (old) • 12 good • 3 bad • 3 of ALCT-384 (new) • 3 good • 0 bad • 7 of ALCT-672 • 5 good • 2 bad • 28 of TMB2005 • 25 good • 3 bad • 8 of RAT2005 • 3 good • 5 bad • 12 of S6-Mezzanine • 8 good • 4 bad 2

  3. To do: • Finish shipping electronics to CERN. • Finish the last electronics for repair • Expect 2 ALCT-672, 2 ALCT-384, 3 TMBs, 1 Spartan-6 Mezzanine that can be fixed + most of the new ALCT-384 boards coming from CERN. • When RAT boards are ready… test and repair. 2
