Asukoht • Kõpu tuletorn asub Lääne-Eestis Hiiumaal Kõpu poolsaare keskosas. • Tuletorni geograafilised koordinaadid on 58°54,958'N ja 22°11,981'E. • Kõpu tuletorn on Läänemere ja Baltimaade vanim ning väidetavalt maailmas vanuselt teine või kolmas tuletorn, mille tipus on tuli pidevalt põlenud.

  3. Välimus ja kõrgus • Kõpu tuletorn ehitati 67 meetri kõrgusele üle merepinna Hiiumaa kõrgeimasse punkti. Tuletorni kõrgus maapinnast on 36 meetrit ja tuli on merepinnast 102,6 meetri kõrgusel, millest kõrgemal majakatulesid Läänemere ääres ei ole. • Valgel neljatahulisel tugipiilaritega tuletornil on rõdu ja punane laternaruum.
