  4. How to set it up? Get and install Java JDK1.5 or above. Get and install Liferay Portal and Tomcat Bundle. Starting up Tomcat. Fire up web browser and type localhost:8080

  5. Liferay and eclipse Developer can configure liferay with tomcat bundle into eclipse. Write portlets and do testing in eclipse. Portlets are pluggable user interface components that can be deployed in web portal, in the case, liferay portal.
