Background It’s the most celebrated scripture by both Christians and Non-Christians around the world David himself was a shepherd This Psalm was written towards the end of David’s life; it acts as a reflection Verse 1 is the thesis of the Psalm where the remaining 5 verses serve as proof to back it up It’s very easy to gloss over this Psalm and miss out on key points because it is so short
