  2. The city where we`re building the house is Santiago, Chileand this is what the house looks like.

  3. Energy Resource We are using solar as our alterative energy resource because Santiago, Chile is hot most of the time and we are on the grid. Temps for Chile each year.

  4. Time for Installation The normal time that it takes to install the solar panel and all of the other tools should take about the time of two weeks or a month to install and to hook up the power and get everything running good.

  5. Solar Panel For our solar panel we are using three 376.7square feet solar panels that in the end cost $2,601 without taxes. These solar panels last for 40 years so you can count on them

  6. The Solar power Controller For our solar power controller we are using a controller that controls 4,800 watts/hour. This controller costs $1,248 without taxes.

  7. Solar Panel Battery We are using a solar power battery that stores 4,680 watts/ hour. This battery also cost $900 without the taxes. This battery lasts 15-20 years.

  8. Solar Power Inverter For our solar power inverter we are using a inverter that inverts 4,400 watts per hour. For this inverter it will cost $2,159.

  9. How much you will have to spend All total you will have to spend $6908 for the things you will need. So all total you will probably have to spend $13628-$14468 in total for installation of every thing and the manual labor and don`t worry about the cost of tools you will need for this we use our own tools so we already have the tools. You also don`t have to worry about shipping and handling we take care of that too.
