  4. WHO ARE WE? We are an organization that likes to say YES to students!

  5. We are ‘’Umbrella’’ organization of 16 local student unions from all over Armenia. Being the largest representative of the student body on the national level our organization aims to advocate, promote and protect educational, social, economic, cultural interests and rights of over 90 thousand students both on national and international level.Our organization works for having stable, affordable and quality higher education.

  11. Criterias • Representativeness - Representation of all students and of all their interests • Democracy - A decision making process democratically run and controlled by students; • Independence - Independence in decision making process against universities, government and party politics

  13. Local Student Union • Improving information flow to and from students • Ensuring more pluralism in debates • Establish independent structures, clear mandates and action plan of their activities

  14. Universities • Give students more access over resources • Improve the level of their own proficiency

  15. The Ministry of Education and Science • Improve the information dissemination about current education reforms in HEIs • Revision of the existing legislation to make student bodies more independent • Consider the status of private universities
