  4. Project #1 • Make a list of questions about your text. Don’t merely rephrase the text but interrogate it. Who, what, where, when, why, how. • Make a list of observations about your text. Note especially cause and effect, reasoning, structure, tone, comparisons, relationships. • Mark up your text to reflect the Q & O of the text. Make a visual diagram of your interrogation including lines, comments, etc. Axiom #1: A pencil and paper is a mental crowbar.
