Word of Mouth Matters • 40.2 % heard about NextGen from a friend • 48% heard about NextGen from the Internet/website
Mission and Vision • 50% of respondents are familiar with NextGen’s mission and vision • After reading it, 82% agreed they identified with the mission and vision statement.
NextGen Events • Among respondents, PKN was the most well attended NextGen event (83%) • 61.5% cited lack of time as the reason for not attending events • 48% cited lack of awareness
What Does NextGen Do Well? • Providing opportunities for people to connect, share ideas and engage in ongoing conversations • Inspiring young people to become involved in Gov’t and their community
What Does NextGen Do Well? • Informing people about activities and events happening in the city • Promoting our own events, particularly PKNs • Giving a voice to the Next Generation
How Can NextGen Improve? • Broaden our reach - age, race, class, industry, culture, community, etc. • Partner with more private, public, community, post-secondary and not-for-profit organizations
