  14. Farms Compost End Sites • Fruits and vegetables and other non-meat food waste are transported to farms to feed cows. Straw and hay from construction sites can also be delivered to farms • Generated at Grocery Stores, Food Distributers and Food Packaging Plants, Bakeries, Flower Shops and Catering Companies • Food waste containing meat is transported to government approved composting facilities where they become mulch or topsoil • Generated at Restaurants, Cafeterias, Banquet Halls and Special Events (like Rib-Fest) Home
