  1. Main achievementsJan – March 2009 • 90 members of Health Committees trained in 9 payams with Leadership skills for 3 days • Land allocation letters signed • The building materials arrived at facilities sites and construction started • Temporary PHC Units operating in Tutnyang and Dablual treated 3922 males, 4931 females with the total of 8853 patients. • Second Advisory Group Meeting • We Trained 225 volunteers in 9 payams on CBFA. • First County Project Committee meeting • Borehole sites assessed and quotations collected • 45 core volunteers had selected • 9 committees for wat/san formed in 9 locations • Monthly reports submitted to 3 ministries and SRCS Head Quarter • Biannual planning had done • Letter of understanding (LOU) had drafted • Equipment and bicycles purchased and sent to facilities • Interview conducted for Community Mobilizer position and we enrolled qualified Candidate • Monitoring and reporting system had established.

Relationship with authorities and communities • One joint Memorandum of Understanding between Sudanese Red Crescent Society and Ministry of Health, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Ministry of Social Development • Ministry staff is part of the project team • County authorities and communities manage through the County Project Committee • Health, Watsan and Elderly Committees manage at Payam level
