Paulo’s Attack on “Banking” Education: or Critical Pedagogy • Students in “banking” education are seen as recipients to simply be filled with information. • Students objected to “banking” education were told how to think, and made to adjust to the world, and hinders any creativeness. • Mere facts are not the goal of education, but rather active learning. • To actively learn you must understand relationship of education, culture, society and politics.
