Music and your childhood • Most cultures expose music to people when they are young. • Do you remember any songs from your childhood? • Did you sing the ABC song to learn the alphabet? • Or the child’s game “Ring around the Rosey”
Song Kye Kye Kule • Here is the song “Kye Kye Kule” • This is from the African nation of Ghana. • Pay attention to the song’s form. • Form- the structure and design of a composition, incorporating repetition, contrast, unity, and variety. • You will also learn about the structure of the song.
