Review • On the tumblr blog, we discussed and viewed some of Easter Island’s past origins and histories. • Here in this Powerpoint we will look at some of characteristics that define the culture and society of Easter Island today.

Geography • Easter Island is a territory of Chile. • It lies 2,180 miles of the coast of Chile in the Pacific Ocean. The entire Island is also only 63 square miles. • Easter Island is made up of three extinct volcanoes. • Photo credit: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Easter_Island_map-it.svg
