Some General Thoughts • Immature field relative to other environmental fields • Limited regulatory drivers • Still in need of a great deal of research • Tremendous opportunity to make a real difference • Opportunities for entrepreneurs • Significant international opportunities • U.S. industry often ahead of government • # jobs > # of qualified applicants

Academia • AEESP: Atmospheric Chemistry & Air Quality • 60 list as major area of interest • 12 list indoor air quality (2 retired + 1 dabbler) • 9 AEESP members as IAQ faculty • More that are not AEESP (especially health crowd) • Morrison / Corsi brainstorm • 31 faculty members (guess = captured > 70%)
