  6. Hatzerim Water Treatment and Reservoir Project • Resolves Hatzerim Airbase’s sewage problem and maintains integrity of Israel’s major aquifer • Provides recycled water to Kibbutz Hatzerim • Creates major industry: jojoba oil

  7. Tifrach Water Reclamation Project • Provides 2.2 million cubic metres of water from Be’er Sheva waste • Creates a major industry: pomegranate juice

  8. Shomriya Water Treatment and Storage Project • New dynamic community relocated from the Gaza Strip • Already planted 40,000 olive trees for virgin olive oil • 2009 planted huge areas with vines • Greenhouse production of capsicum, eggplant & melon. • Project provides irrigation water at 1/3 cost of fresh water currently used. • Creates sustainable agriculture and jobs. • Releases fresh water “quota” back to the Israeli Government to sustain demographic growth.
