  1. WHICH PAPER AIRPLANE FLIES THE FARTHEST

  2. Purpose The reason we are doing this project is To see which paper airplane will fly the farthest. Out of copy paper, construction paper, and notebook paper. Hypothesis We think that The copy paper will fly the farthest because it’s the lightest and the skinniest paper.

  3. Materials List • For our project we will need 3 pc. Of copy paper. • 3 pc. Of construction paper. • 3 pc. Of notebook paper. • 1 tape measure. • 1 pc. of paper. • And a pencil.

  4. Procedures • Step 1 – We got 3 different pieces of copy paper, construction paper, and notebook paper. • Step 2 – Then we made an airplane out of copy paper, construction paper, and notebook paper. • Step 3 – Then we flew our copy paper airplane 3 different times. • Step 4 – We recorded our results. • Step 5 – Next we flew our construction paper airplane 3 different times. • Step 6 – Repeat step 4.

  5. Procedures • Step 7 – Then we flew our notebook paper airplane 3 different times. • Step 8 – Last we repeated step 4.

  6. Which Paper flies the farthest?

  7. Conclusion Our hypothesis was right. We predicted that the copy paper airplane would fly the farthest because it was the lightest and the skinniest. If we were to do this project again we would change the types of paper that we used. We would use sand paper, colored construction paper, but we would keep the copy paper.

  8. Acknowledgements We would like to thank Mrs. Ledbetter for measuring our results. And Nicholas Rosborough for helping us make our airplanes. And we would like to thank the school for buying the paper.
