Why do condition monitoring? Class related to Condition Based Maintenance • Avoid unnecessary opening up • Class usually either rely on 5 year class intervals or makers maintenance intervals • By the use of trending of the equipments condition and a DNV approved Machinery CM program/ survey arrangement,maintenance intervals can be based on the actual condition of the equipment • Cost beneficial • Less time spent on survey/ inspection / opening up: • Only annual audits of an approved CM program © Det Norske Veritas AS.
