Objectives The objective is to demonstrate mobile machine self monitoring key technologies at machine level with service interfaces to system level.
Objectives (contd.) Emphasized areas Self condition monitoring – A wireless monitoring node, Eistec’sMulle, connected to the cloud where measurement data is displayed in a web browser Self localization using of-the-shelf components – will be demonstrated in generation 2 Energy management of embedded sensors – a first prototype for energy harvesting Communication from enclosed locations – will be demonstrated in generation 2 Data and information security Integration to SOA enabling service and device configuration and system integration Integration to maintenance scheduling system Provision of CM information to stakeholders Arrowhead Framework
Pilot Plan Demonstration - 1:st generation, Q3-2013 to Q3-2014 Integration of a smart bearing in a wheel loader providing basic measurements of bearing performance in lab environment Demonstration - 2:nd generation, Q4-2014 to Q4-2015 Integration of smart bearing to wheel loader with service integration to wheel loader controller making use of Arrowhead common framework Demonstration - 3:rd generation, Q4-2015 to Q4-2016 Integration of wheel loader system to site maintenance system. With further integration of results from Arrowhead common framework (CoAP and/or OPC-UA using demo 1, and 2 features)
Technology needed Demonstration - 1:st generation, Q3-2013 to Q3-2014 Integration of a smart bearing in a wheel hub in lab environment Demonstration - 2:nd generation, Q4-2014 to Q4-2015 Integration of smart bearing to wheel loader Service integration to wheel loader controller Demonstration - 3:rd generation, Q4-2015 to Q4-2016 Integration of wheel loader system to site maintenance system
