  3. QUESTION • What liquids works best in making invisible ink?

  4. Hypothesis • I predict that lemonade, apple juice, and water will make the best invisible ink because coca cola, onion juice are dark and it might not look invisible just visible.

  5. Material • Lemon or Lemon Juice, Water, Coca Cola, Onion Juice, and Apple Juice • Sunlight or Heat Source • Paper • Paintbrush or Stick • Pencil • Notebook

  6. Procedures • Gather your materials. • Squeeze the lemons(or pour the lemon juice in a cup or bowl). • Use the juice as “ ink”. Use a stick or paintbrush, and write on the paper. • Allow the paper to dry. • Hold the paper up to sunlight. • It will turn pale brown so you can read the message. or • You can put salt on the drying ink. • After a minute, wipe the salt off. • Color the paper with wax crayon to reveal the message.

Variables • Independent variable- what I have changed on purpose:the type of drink • Dependent variable- what I think/hope will change during my investigation:the color of the message and the results • Controlled variables- what I have kept thesame: paintbrush or stick and sunlight or heat source
