  2. Who is Mr. Archibald? • I was born in Wellsville, Utah in Cache Valley. • I have been married 6 years now to my wife Dani. We met at Utah State University in a sociology class. • My first name is Mike!

  4. My BOYS • On July 25th, 2011 we had our first child together. • Jerry is now 2 years old. He likes to go outside, have cookies, watch Shrek, wrestle with dad, and talk all the time. • More recently me and my wife had a second child this past January. Ethan is now seven months old. • I love being a dad it is the best part of my life.

  7. Who is Mr. Archibald? • Let me tell you about my immediate family growing up.. • I am the second youngest of six kids. I have an older brother who is a dentist in Oregon and a sister who is a nurse in Arizona. • My dad is a Principal of a middle school in Cache Valley.

  8. Who is Mr. Archibald? • I love to travel. • Some of my favorite places I have traveled to are Jamaica, Bahamas, Mexico, Alaska, Las Vegas, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Scotland, England, Washington D.C., and Oregon.

  9. Who is Mr. Archibald? • I spent two years in Scotland on a mission for the LDS Church. • I still love to speak with a Scottish accent and you will constantly find me using Scottish words in class.

  10. Who is Mr. Archibald? • Six years ago I graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors Degree in Biological Science. • I met my wife at Utah State University where she has recently graduated with a degree in Technical Writing

  11. Who is Mr. Archibald? • I recently graduated from Utah State University again this time with my Masters Degree in Instructional Technology. • I am currently attending Utah State University to get my administrative endorsement so I can be a principal/vice-principal in the coming years.

  12. Who is Mr. Archibald? • I love movies! • Some of my favorite movies include Lord of the Rings, Saving Private Ryan, The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Indiana Jones, and Serenity. • Recent Movies/TV shows I have seen an liked are The Avengers, Sherlock Holmes, and The Walking Dead.

  13. Who is Mr. Archibald? • I like video games! • I own an Xbox 360 and a PS3 which I like to play in my spare time although I have less and less of it these days. • Some of my favorite recent video games are Battlefield 3, Halo Reach, Uncharted, The Last of Us, etc.

  14. Who is Mr. Archibald? • I like sports. • My two favorite teams are the Denver Broncos and the Phoenix Suns. • The Utah Jazz are probably my second favorite basketball team.

  15. Who is Mr. Archibald? • Sports I like include basketball, baseball, football, golf, and tennis.

  16. MUSIC I LIKE • My favorite bands are probably Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, Mumford and Sons and Coldplay. • I do like all sorts of music though and I’ll listen to about anything. • This year you will hear plenty of music during class.

  17. Who is Mr. Archibald? • In addition to traveling me and my wife like to go camping and hiking. • We are pictured hiking around a waterfall in Jamaica to the right. • We also like going to comedy clubs, hanging out with family, and just laughing.

  18. Who is Mr. Archibald? • Science is Awesome. I like it because it explains all of the different aspects of the world we live in. • My dad was a science teacher and so was his dad. • I remember from a young age watching my dad perform experiments and I always thought it was cool.

  19. Who is Mr. Archibald? • Throughout the year if you have any questions or concerns, please just ask me or email me. I feel like I am really easy to work with and understanding but I need to know there is a problem before I can address it.

  21. This game is played by taking a note card where I want you to answer the following questions. 1. What is your full name? 2. When I am older I want to…….. 3. What is your favorite movie? 4. What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time? 5. If you could learn anything in science what would it be? 6. If you could have lunch with anybody dead or alive who would it be and why? We are now going to play truth and lies

  22. Turn over your card and on the back write three statements about yourself. Two of these statements need to be true while one is a lie. Please try to make all three statements believable so as to hide your lie. Also make sure and include only statements that you would not mind sharing with the entire class. Please write legibly on the card so that your answers can be clearly read. Now for the truth and lies part
