Welcome to PaperToolBox! This short presentation will introduce you to the features of our first product – PaperFetch, and reasons why everyone is using it.
Without PaperFetch, to download a paper, you need to: 1) Click on the paper link
2) Wait for the abstract page to load 3) Click on one of these boxes (IF, it is in fact there already)
4) Wait for the next page to load. 5) Find and click on the full text PDF link . 6) Think of a name for the file. 7) Find a folder to save the file to. 8) Finally, save the PDF file to that folder...
This is how a user downloads papers:
Once you install PaperFetch, all the PMID numbers in your PubMed search results will become green links. Now, all you need to do is to click on this link and the PDF of that paper will be saved to your computer!
PaperFetch will also help you to organize your papers, by saving the PDF files in a default “author, year, journal, title” format.
With a single click to the PMID link, PaperFetch will download not only the PDF file of the paper, but also co-download the citation file, which you can import into reference manager programs such as RefMan, EndNote and ProCite.
Let’s say, you’ve made a complex search and want to download all the papers that came out of the search. Without PaperFetch, you would have to download all the papers one-by-one. But with PaperFetch...
1) Click on: “Display settings”, select PMID list and click “Apply”.
3) Enjoy a cup of coffee or a beautiful view, while numerous papers and citation files are being Direct-Fetched and Auto-Saved in a Multi-Download fashion!
