1. Gather (1-3 mins) • Bring a thought into consciousness • E.g. worrying about money • Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth (John 16:13) • Are the thoughts making you tense/ worried or peaceful? • Do I want this to be part of me?
2. Focused Reflection (1-3 mins) • What does God’s word say? • Mental rehearsal • Bring change through repentance & forgiveness

REVISIT(1-3 mins) • You revisit where you are & look at how to make change happen. • You get to design your new healthy thought to replace the toxic thought • You re-examine your thoughts on paper – but you also rethink through your reaction to the information • God’s word is powerful for this step
5. Active Reach • Actions & exercises you say & do during the day • Practice your healthy thought • Its not just making a decision to change or forgive; it is actually forgiving
5 to 16 minutes a day of focused, meditative capturing of thoughts shifts frontal brain states;
1. GATHER – Building up a healthy thought • As you identify the toxic thought in the breaking down process, immediately , prayerfully , consciously think about a replacement thought. • E.g. my God will supply every need of your according to his riches in glory (phil4:19)
Repeat Steps 1-5 for 10 minutes everday for 21 days • Gather • Focused Reflection • Integrate new positive thoughts & associations • Write down • Revisit • Active Reach - Do the active reaches
