Three committee goals are to: • Increase overall member satisfaction • Increase chapter size • Promote benefits of SHRM National membership • Activities • New Member Orientations • Provide thorough information on values/resources of SHRM-GT & SHRM • Small group meeting allows new members to get to know each other • Ensuring a positive experience in new member integration at regular monthly workshops • 1. A familiar face to greet them at the door • 2. Occasional assigned seating to foster interaction and friendships with new people

We recently began doing a 6 month new member checkup • Recruitment & Retention • Actively recruit new members at events and around town • Membership renewal campaign • Field all inquiries about joining SHRM-GT • Participate in state and national SHRM workshops on recruitment and retention

I firmly believe that Joe can beclassed as a high-caliber employee, the type which cannot bedispensed with.
