  3. OBJECTIVE: • To fill the gap between faculty and student • Identify the negativity among the students. • Provide remedial measures.

  4. SCOPE: • Formal discussion with HODs, Faculty Members. • Informal discussion with students • Necessary information from Administration.

  5. METHODOLOGY Sample: Students -100 Faculty members-10 HODs-5 • Primary data collection • Informal meeting with Students • Formal meeting with HODs, Faculty Members and Higher authorities • Secondary data collection • Internet • Student behavior document

  7. VIEWS OF HODs • Students' not attending classes • Students’ unable to cope-up with the lessons. • Poor participation in the class • Indulged in other activities during the lecture session

Remedial Measures for the Management • Semester wise parents meeting • Tutorial classes • Less academic pressure • Decisions should be made after students’ opinion(Examination time table) • Students’ performance reports to be sent to parents • Doubt clearing by peer group to be encouraged • Implementation of feedback taken from students • FDP for faculty members.

  13. Remedial Measures For Faculty Members • Post lecture assignments and study materials • Proper attention to students problem and doubts • Take feedback after each module • More focus on practical assignments • Encourage personal meetings • Regular assignments

SUGGESTION • Avoid forceful teaching classes • Encourage students for different activities • Appreciate students’ idea • Personal meeting with the students should be encouraged • Provide sufficient gap before end semester(20 days) • No change in faculty in mid semester • Minimum 7 days gap after end semester • Students’ to be made free on saturdays(No classes)
