Group work session II: Linking Regional Initiatives to National Agenda Having identified a set of common challenges faced by accession countries in anticipating and addressing skills needs up to 2020, how can regional initiatives support and reinforce national strategies and measures? Which types of regional initiatives could be most effective in this respect and how to prioritise them? These could fall into different categories: regional mutual learning initiatives related to open coordination of policies and approaches, development of web-based tools and resources to support skills anticipation and foresight, joint foresight processes, training and other capacity-building measures

  3. Ways of interlinking national activities and regional initiatives Give 3 examples 1. Establishing of regional OMC in regard with HR and skills development. 2. Exchange of good practices and information on Active Labour Market Programs and Measures. 3. Regional interlinking in the field of monitoring and evaluation. Yellow Group
