DPAC: Leading Disability Rights Campaign Network

Disabled People Against Cuts (DPAC) is a campaign network advocating for disabled individuals. Through direct action, lobbying, and legal challenges, they fight for disabled rights based on the Social Model of Disability and UNCRPD. DPAC works with DPO’s and grassroots activists to promote civil disobedience in key areas, collaborating with unions, political parties, and anti-cuts movements. Moving forward, DPAC aims to defend the Social Model of Disability, develop skills, and identify new campaigns in areas like Social Care and Independent Living.
