  7. 3. Answer: The Goat’s Head Pub The Goat's head Pub continued into the 1990's impacted by the fact that the drinking age was 21. WPI continued to have a beer and wine license until the mid 1990's when business came to a stand still and WPI stopped renewing the license. Functions with alcohol can still take place in the Pub with a one day beer license.

  17. 8. Answer: Football had a losing record in 1978 1-7 and there was a committee studying whether to maintain the program or not. Crew was more successful in competition, even though it was only a club sport. Crew is now a varsity sport.
