  2. My Many Colored DaysBy: Dr. Suess • As we read “My Many Colored Days,” think about what kind of a day you are having today. • Once we finish reading, turn to your shoulder partner, introduce yourself, tell them what color day you are having, and tell them why it is that colored day.

  3. WELCOME TO 8TH GRADE! Every day of Eighth Grade will be different, but you learn how to cope on even the most purple or black days. Have patience with yourself. Some days may be hard, some days may be easy. Always try your best! Have confidence in yourself. Ask questions. Work well with others. Choose your color every day and know that every choice matters.

  5. All About Me • Ms. Wright is 22 years young. • This is her first year teaching at LMJH. Go Marlins! • Your teacher is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University. • She is currently the Cheer Co- Sponsor, and she will also be working with the Darlin Marlins throughout the year. • Ms. Wright has an extensive dance background having danced for 20 years. • Her favorite color is hot pink and her favorite food is Pizza! • On her days off, she enjoys reading on the beach, watching movies, and riding rollercoasters.

  6. How can you stay prepared for this class? Some helpful advice would be the following… Find a buddy Come to class everyday and be on time. Access the teacher web pages daily. Use your planner in every class. Keep your binder organized.
