SCORING • You are scored on the number of questions you answer correctly in a given time period. • You do not lose any points of you leave an answer blank ( you don’t gain any either). • You lose ¼ of a point if you answer incorrectly (so you don’t lose a point until you answer four questions incorrectly).
Essay Component • The essay component assesses your ability to develop ideas and express ideas effectively—it evaluates your ability to do the kind of writing required in college. Develop a point of view, present ideas logically and clearly, and use precise language.
