Identifying Patterns. But first, how’s your multiplication?. Because much of math is based in patterns, its very useful to be able to identify them when they show up. They are a fun way to practice Multiplication problems Rules: all face cards are 12, red are negative, black are positive.

  3. Here are the answers, check your answers – how many out of 8 did you get right? 27 -32 30 -84 -20 -48 -72 8 By knowing the multiplication table, it makes finding multiples much easier.

  4. Solve the riddle by looking for the pattern. Polar Bears come in pairs. They sit around a hole in the ice like petals on a flower. How many Polar Bears and fish are there? Roll 5 dice” There are 6 Polar bears and 7 fish How do you get the number of Bears and fish?
