  2. Dual Data Center Project • Reduce risk associated with data center being located in hurricane strike zone • Project began in 2002 • Site selection made in 2006 • Cutover to Denver site to occur in August 2007 • Backup site still being selected – cutover targeted for end of 2007

  3. Status to Date • Primary Computing Facility (PCF) Denver • NFC personnel on site • Completed all facility modifications • Equipment installation complete • Completed Integrated System Test • Final system software installation and configuration underway • C&A complete • Acceptance test strategy finalized

  4. Test & Acceptance Plan • Phase I: Component testing (NFC IT staff) • Complete • Phase II: Integration testing (NFC IT staff) • Complete • Phase III: Internal testing • July 16 – 23 • Phase IV: Customer Acceptance Testing • August 4 and August 18

  5. Customer Connectivity • All customer technical representatives have been contacted • Most customers connect through virtual private network (VPN) • Worksheets and contact info sent to all technical reps • Small number of customers have dedicated circuit • NFC working directly with each technical rep • Some workstations might need to be changed (hard coded IP addresses)

Customer Connectivity • August 4-5 and 18-19 testing means specific address re-routing needed for those dates, noon to noon • Full address re-routing needed for August 19 p.m., if the decision is “GO” • “Don’t cross the streams!” – Dr. Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis), Ghostbusters 1984 • Who do you call? • C.W.
