Rule: • Past tense is used for describing something happened in the past. • Add ‘ed’ to the verb. Ex: I worked hard yesterday. • Add ‘D’ to the verb ends with “e” Ex: I invited my friends to the party last week. • Y + consonant cross Y and add “ied” Ex: I studied English yesterday. • Y + vowel add “ed” Ex: I enjoyed the film last night. • One vowel + consonant double the last letter and add “ed” Ex: Last summer , I travelled to Alex.
