About Young Jeezy • Jay Wayne Jenkins aka Young Jeezy was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia. • Jenkins was diagnosed with polyps on his vocal chords early in his career but had surgery to fix them and recovered fully. • Jenkins was affiliated with B.M.F. and Big Meech during the Federal investigation of the Black Mafia Family. • Young Jeezy goes by many aliases including Mr. 17.5, Jeezy the snowman and Young Jizzle.
