Were They Came From . The puritans were originally from england . They were all against the beliefs of the church under King George the first . Beliefs . Believed that the bible was God’s word . Bible provided a plan so that people may live there life correct before God . Their Purpose . The puritans came to America to search for religious freedom. . About 21,000 of them came to Massachusetts Bay Colony and later formed the Congregational Church. .
