  1. 6) Of all the rides you've taken, which one stands out the most and why?I have two, One is the 2005 WA State Rally, it was my very first long group ride and the group was great. The second stands out because of the encounter I had with a gravel shoulder near Jackson on the ID/MT group ride. That one was a bit of a challenge.7) What one ride do you want to take before you lower your kick stand for the last time?I hope to be with Mike Rorvick when he first crosses a State Line (you go Mike).8) What ride do you look forward to every year and why? A long solo run to Cal. I can visit My sister (Chico) and set my own agenda.9) What Harley model would you buy next and why?I’m probably going to pick up a Dyna Street or Fat Bob as a 2nd ride. I will also use it to show Ashley (my youngest daughter) how to stay away from gravel shoulders and other road hazards.10) Who's the most famous person you've met? Tom Skerrit (actor), I installed his kitchen cabinets. Ruth Bernard (photographer), I escorted her at a workshop in Coupeville. Phil Borges (photographer and human rights activist), I had a workshop in Ariz. with him. And William D. Ruckelshaus (Attorney General for about 8 hrs during Watergate), worked on house remodel.11) Who's the one person you would like to meet & why? George W. Bush’s puppeteer. I would like to ask him if he knows the adage about fooling people some of the time. I would also like to see where he’s got his other hand. I feel that when he’s not helping George W. shit on my U.S. Constitution, he’s got it in my pocket.12) Who do you admire the most and why?Ed Bradley (journalist), Ed could spend a weekend with Hunter S. Thompson, Sing “Sixty Minute Man” on stage with Jimmy Buffet, Sail Solo, and still let me know what was important to himself and the world. He was very engaging. (Continued on Page) 13) What do you want to be doing in 5 yrs? Working and Riding.14) Besides riding motorcycles, what are your other hobbies?Photography, Metal work.15) What don't most people know about you?I work every day, some days I get paid for it.16) What gets you fired up (angry)? People who fill their life with bigotry and hatred.17) What relaxes you (puts you at ease)? Relax? At my stage in life, relaxed is the status quo. It’s all sitting back in my wheel chair, rolling down hill, listening to the pretty birdies as I cruise by. Relax? Hell. I do find I self medicate with Bourbon on occasion.18) If you could, what non-living person would you like to have a conversation with and why?Franz Kafka. I would like to know if his stories were truly an outcome of existential dread, which I suspect, or perhaps, like myself, he just had a warped sense and could spin a wild warn.19) What's your biggest mistake?I’m still waiting for that one. All previous miscalculations have resulted in growth and new perspectives.20) If you could, what one message would you like to communicate to the world?Don’t sweat the small stuff, There’s some really big shit out there ready to kick your ass.
