  3. A Pastor’s Plea • Receive us (7:2) • We have wronged no man (Emotional) • We have corrupted no man (Spiritual) • We have defrauded no man (Physical) • Receive from us • Take our lives (7:3) • Take our encouragement (7:4-7) • Take our rebuke (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 7:8)

  4. A Pastor’s Joy (7:9-16) • The repentance of God’s people (7:9-10) • Have Sorrow over Sin (7:9) • Godly sorrow of conviction (Isaiah 6) • Understand your sin • Agree with God about you sin • Have hope to change you sin.

  5. A Pastor’s Joy (7:9-16) • Worldly sorrow of guilt • No understand of the situation • No standard of right and wrong • No hope of changing

  6. A Pastor’s Joy (7:9-16) • Rejoice In the Victory over Sin (7:10) • Approval before God and men • Joy to you and those around you • Confidence between you and God. ( 1 John 3:18-22)
