  1. FORfood globalization! Why food globalization is good for our worlds economy.

  2. What is food globalization? • The import and export of food between different countries • Some of Canada’s top exports are: apples, maple syrup, honey, wine, peaches and corn • We export over 3 billion $ of food each year

  3. WOOF WOOF IM A MAD COW!

  4. The truth about mad cow disease? • When a cow is intoxicated with this disease it causes the animal to lose control of its ability to do normal things • Even though this may sound bad, it dose not mean that there aren’t any ways to prevent humans from becoming affected by this

Ways to prevent mad cow and foot and mouth diseases • Buy better quality beef products (this will mean spending a few extra bucks but for a good cause) • Our government can help to provide better health care and to have more research to be done on this topic. • Form a petition against breeding diseased cows • Better quality animal feed by removing potentially infectious matter in the feed reduces a 90% chance of sickness.

  6. Our world… our foodwhat would we ever do without food globalization? Think about it, what would our world be like with out food globalization: • No more outings to your favorite international flavored restaurants. (Chinese, Italian, etc) • Would be eating the same old foods everyday • Not as much food in winter months (companies would have to preserve more food then normal) • Most of your favorite fruits would be gone!

  7. Its ok • The last outbreak of food diseases like mad cow was almost five years ago. • Since then we have still been carrying on with our regular every day lives and eating things that have come from other countries. And we can because of food globalization!

  8. Food Globalization! • Though food globalization may have its problems, everything dose the world isn’t perfect, and it doesn’t mean these problems can’t be solved and/or prevented • Imagine out world with out it… We are FOR FOOD GLOBALIZATION!
