From the Southern part of the Square we can see the edifice of the Higher Seminary, founded in 1569 by the bishop Stanislaw Karnkowski. There also is the Narrow-Track Railway Museum, the only of its kind in Europe. Food industry, which uses developed agriculture, is the dominant branch of industry. There are numerous Polish firms of this branch and several foreign investors.
