How Great is our God Chris Tomlin CCLI# 764383
The splendor of the King, Clothed in majesty; Let all the earth rejoice, All the earth rejoice.
He wraps Himself in light, And darkness tries to hide, And trembles at His voice, And trembles at His voice.
How great is our God! Sing with me: How great is our God! And all will see how great, How great is our God!
And age to age He stands, And time is in His hands; Beginning and the End, Beginning and the End.
The God-head, three in one, Father, Spirit, Son, The Lion and the Lamb, The Lion and the Lamb.
How great is our God! Sing with me: How great is our God! And all will see how great, How great is our God!
Name above all names, Worthy of all praise. My heart will sing: How great is our God.

Following the Star Mathew 2:1-12
So, what am I supposed to do with this baby now? Epiphany - Odd Celebration • Epiphany is celebrated 12 days after Christmas even though the wise men took a couple of years to get to Bethlehem. • Most Christians think the wise men were there for the first Christmas – more than likely NOT.
Did Real Mary Ask Question? • The Christmas Story is dramatic: • The angel’s announcement; • Visit to Bethlehem and the birth of a son; • The coming of the shepherds • The coming of the Wise Men to worship the child and give Him gifts; • So what are we to do with this Baby now that its Epiphany 2013?
Christ did not Remain a Baby • When the Magi came they found a 2 year old child; • Later, they would have found Jesus, an almost teenage, discussing religious issues in the Temple; • Still later, they would have found Jesus as a young man working as a carpenter. • Later still, they would have found Jesus, 30 years old, beginning His ministry;
Jesus Christ: A Threat to the Established Order • We like Christmas Story to be all warm and fuzzy; • Epiphany tells another story; • We Christians know that Jesus has always been a threat to the established order; that what is called Repentance! “You’re headed in the wrong direction. Turn around NOW!” Repentance! Washington D.C.
The Christ Star Still Shines • Epiphany’s take away is not that mad dictator but a loving God who set a star in the heaven to guide people to His Son. “Just look up!” This is true our of lives too!
