The academic advising program empowers students to thoughtfully develop and attain their educational goals, informed and supported by their relationship with their advisor(s).

Draft Mission Statement The academic advising program at Augustana College enables students to effectively manage their academic and personal growth by: empowering students, with the guidance of their advisor(s), to explore, articulate, and achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. enriching students’ development by engaging them in reflection and promoting self-awareness. equipping advisors to nurture students as they develop and work toward appropriate and fulfilling goals, both within and beyond the classroom.
