2 Corinthians 5:17–20 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 18All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ ... 19God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them..
Colossians 1:19–20 19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him (i.e.Christ), 20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
Romans 5:8–11 (NLT)8But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. 9And since we have been made right in God’s sight (JUSTIFIED) by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.
10For since our friendship with God was restored (WE WERE RECONCILED) by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. 11So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God (WE HAVE RECEIVED RECONCILIATION).
