  1. OGCA Open Session In an effort to create a stronger partnership between UAB administration and UAB’s research community, the Office of Grants and Contracts Administration is offering a series of “Open Session” forums designed to improve communications,  share suggestions, and discuss possible improvements or solutions to problems that arise in the acquisition and administration of sponsored research funding.  Open sessions will be one and one half hour sessions where participants can bring their questions to the floor for group discussion.  There will be officers from each specialized area of OGCA to provide feedback on each question and offer additional resources when available. Merging the Gap Between Administration and Research. New Procedures. New Strategies. New Directions.
