Project Objectives Plan and execute a traditional church wedding for Lauran and Conner within 21 days.
Project Scope A traditional wedding that includes: A church ceremony. • A catered wedding reception. • Maid of honor (currently located in Guatemala) and bridesmaids. • Altered heirloom wedding dress. • Custom made bridesmaids dresses. • Rehearsal night. • Invitations.
Project Milestones Flight reservations for maid of honor. Final choice on catering menu and decorations. Chapel and reception hall final approval. Mail wedding invitations. Complete wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses.
Project Risks With any project there is an inherent amount of risks. Some risks can be identified prior to the start of a project and managed so that they do not materialize. If the risk is unpreventable predesigned contingency plans can be put into action to mitigate the risk event’s effects.
Project Costs . Due to the time constraint, the “Now” Wedding will have additional costs associated with expedited shipping, the maid of honor’s flight from Guatemala, and the expedited church reservation.

Recommendations The family is faced with four choices regarding the marriage of Lauren and Conner: Keep the existing schedule and resources as is; Keep the task schedule as is but hire seamstress for a total of seven days; Change the schedule by reducing time allocated for choosing patterns, invitations, and decorations and hire seamstress for a total of nine days; Bride and groom take the money and elope.
