Issues Back Next • Clearly, the AJX isn’t selling as well as we’d hoped. • It’s more expensive for us to manufacture. • It’s more expensive for the consumer to purchase. • Its advantages over the AJC don’t appear to be worth the price! Too negative?
Solutions Back Next We’ve already decreased the price twice, with no effect. We’ve made production costs as cheap as possible. If we make the AJX cheaper, we’ll be selling them at a loss! This is BAD! What do we do then? This is meant for the Board of Directors, not 5-year-olds. Should probably explain more elagently
Aggressive Marketing! Back Next The customer looks at the AJX and sees a microscope. We should make them see endless possibilities! Show the wonders of science (with CGI, of course) Find some way to work in exotic locales, to brand us as “adventurous” Sex sells, if necessary

Target Audiences Back Next Elementary schools: The AJC is a cheap but solid option for elementary schools to buy in bulk. Middle / high schools: Typically prefer higher-end products, but sometimes go after the AJX. Colleges: Always go for a much more powerful microscope. Kids: Their parents sometimes buy the AJC for their “junior scientists.” Adult enthusiasts: They often buy the AJX, but only if they don’t know better. DON’T insult our own products!
