  1. Rigid Centralizer Working Process

  2. The Rigid Casing Centralizer is basically a mechanical device which is secured around the casing at various locations.

  3. Features of Rigid Centralizer • It has hollow steel blades with a rounded smooth profile. • It can be used in wells where casing reciprocation and/or rotation is required.

  4. Features of Rigid Centralizer • The all-steel design can withstand severe wellbore conditions. • This is available with or without set screws.

  5. How It Works The centralizer is kept away from making further contact with the wall as the device continuous annular clearance around the casing; it allows cement to completely seal around the casing to the borehole wall.

  6. The eccentric structure of the tool is introduced and the working principle of adjusting the centralizing azimuth by the automatic rotation of two kinds directions.

  7. The better way to perform is a standoff analysis for each casing before a cementing job.  Also, the exact number of Rigid Centralizer required and their placements on the casing are important to make it work properly. 

  8. The lab and field experiments show that the tool can effectively improve the centralizing degree of the casing in horizontal wells.
