  1. August 28, 2013 marked the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. The students watched a 3 minute video clip of the actual march and then discussed their views and opinions of what they witnessed. Afterwards they recreated the march, however their signs referred to terms and ideas that were relevant to them. The March on Walnut Creek
