I-80/I-35 over Walnut Creek Project Description • Existing bridge: 408’-6 x variable continuous steel I-beam (57’-3 end spans and 4@73’-6 interior spans) • Built in 1958 and widened twice in 1980s • Three EB/NB lanes plus exit ramp • Original deck (center lanes) is in need of replacement
